Terms & Conditions

PRACTICAL INFORMATION AND TERMS OF SALE
Booking any of the stays offered in this catalogue implies the mandatory acceptance of these terms of sale by the contracting parties.

1. OUR SERVICES

SOLO CYCLIST "NATURE" PACKAGE (1 Person)
This is a pitch for your tent if you are travelling by bicycle. Your stay is calculated based on a base rate which includes the pitch, the number of persons specified in the package, your camping/caravanning setup, and access to reception facilities, entertainment, and sanitary blocks. Additional costs (extra person, adult or child, water, 10-amp electricity if required, etc.) are not included in the package and will be added to the final price.

"NATURE" PACKAGE (2 Persons)
This is a pitch for your tent or caravan. Your stay is calculated based on a base rate which includes the pitch, the persons included in the package (2 people), your camping/caravanning setup, your vehicle on the pitch or in the car park, and access to reception facilities, entertainment, and sanitary blocks. Additional costs (extra person, adult or child, water, 10-amp electricity if required, etc.) are not included in the package and will be added to the final price.
Stays are free of charge for children under 2 years old.

"COMFORT" PACKAGE (2 Persons)
This is a pitch for your tent or caravan. Your stay is calculated based on a base rate which includes the pitch, the persons included in the package (2 people), your camping/caravanning setup, your vehicle on the pitch or in the car park, water and electricity hook-ups on the pitch, as well as access to reception facilities, entertainment, and sanitary blocks. Additional costs (extra person, adult or child, etc.) are not included in the package and will be added to the final price.
Stays are free of charge for children under 2 years old.

RENTAL ACCOMMODATION
During the period from 2nd July to 30th August, rentals must be booked from Saturday to Saturday, Wednesday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Saturday (10 nights), or Saturday to Wednesday (11 nights). Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM, unless otherwise stated on the specific campsite catalogue page (nightly rentals). Outside of these dates, nightly stays are available with a minimum of 2 nights. Our prices include: Guests (up to the accommodation's capacity) Water, gas, and electricity One vehicle per rental Access to reception facilities, entertainment, and sanitary blocks Accommodations are fully equipped; however, bed linen is not provided. Linen can be purchased on-site. The accommodation must be returned in its original condition upon departure (see: Security Deposit). Any additional person occupying the rental or staying on the same pitch beyond the set capacity will incur a supplement, subject to approval by the Site Manager.
Detailed descriptions of the units are available on the campsite website. Please note that interior layouts and equipment may vary slightly from one campsite to another for the same package.
In all cases, your comfort is guaranteed and the guest capacity remains the same.
Requests for a specific pitch or unit can only be met based on availability upon your arrival.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES AND FACILITIES
Any activity, whether free or paid, mentioned in this catalogue may be modified or cancelled upon your arrival due to circumstances beyond our control or cases of force majeure. We cannot be held liable for such changes.
Facilities currently in the planning stage are mentioned for informational purposes. Should these facilities not be completed in time for the season due to reasons beyond our control, the Régie du Camping Municipal de Montech shall not be held responsible. The campsite undertakes to provide real-time information regarding accessible facilities via telephone.

SUPPLEMENTS
Regardless of the chosen package (pitch or rental), additional fees will be charged for: Extra vehicles (car, trailer, motorbike, boat, etc.), where permitted, extra tents, pets, visitors...

Our VAT-inclusive prices do not include the tourist tax (taxe de séjour), collected on behalf of the local authorities. The amount will be specified during booking. This tax is charged in addition to your accommodation and is payable upon arrival. It is non-adjustable and non-refundable.

2. BOOKING PAYMENTS

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
For both the deposit and the remaining balance, you may pay for your booking or stay using the following methods:
French bank cheques or postal orders, holiday vouchers (Chèques-Vacances), and debit/credit cards.

PAYMENT TERMS
Any firm booking request from the buyer must be submitted in writing and accompanied by a deposit covering part of the stay costs plus a £15 (15€) administration fee. This booking is only contractually valid upon receipt of a booking confirmation issued by the Régie du Camping Municipal de Montech.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of your stay.
If the balance is not received within this timeframe, the booking will be considered cancelled, and our cancellation policy (detailed below) will apply.

3. LAST-MINUTE BOOKINGS

Any booking made less than 30 days before the departure date must be paid in full and by credit/debit card only.
Bookings made using any other payment method will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment, subject to availability.

4. BOOKING AMENDMENTS

You may request to change the dates, location, or type of stay once (subject to availability and free of charge). This request must be sent by post. All sums already paid toward your current booking will be transferred to the new reservation.

5. LATE ARRIVAL / EARLY DEPARTURE

In the event of a late arrival or early departure relative to the dates stated on your booking voucher, the total cost of the booked stay remains due. No refunds will be granted for any unused portion of the stay resulting from late arrival or early departure.

6. NO-SHOW AT THE CAMPSITE

In the event of a no-show within 48 hours of the scheduled start of your stay, without justification or notification of arrival, we reserve the right to re-let your pitch or rental accommodation. Cancellation fees will be retained in accordance with our policy.

7. CANCELLATION

All cancellations must be notified by post and will take effect from the date the letter is received. The letter must be sent directly to the campsite.

Cancellations up to 31 days before arrival: Free of charge. All sums paid will be refunded (excluding a £15/15€ administration and management fee for rental accommodations). hébergements locatifs).

Cancellations 30 days or less before arrival: Total loss of all sums paid.

Amendment requests up to 31 days before arrival: Free of charge.

Amendment requests 30 days or less before arrival: Subject entirely to the agreement of the Camping Municipal de Montech. If refused, it may result in the total loss of all sums paid.

No discounts or refunds will be granted for late arrivals, early departures, changes in the number of guests, or changes in the type of mobile home or pitch requested less than 31 days before arrival.

To obtain potential compensation, we strongly recommend taking out travel/cancellation insurance with a third-party provider.

If the Régie du Camping Municipal de Montech is forced to cancel its pitch or rental services, the contractor will be notified by registered mail and will receive a full refund of all sums paid.

8. SECURITY DEPOSIT

For rental accommodations, a security deposit of £280 (280€) is required upon arrival and will be returned at the end of your stay.
This deposit may be partially or fully retained by the Régie du Camping Municipal de Montech in the event of damage to the accommodation, its contents, or campsite equipment. We also reserve the right to deduct £40 (40€) for cleaning fees if the accommodation is not left clean upon departure.

9. INSURANCE

During their stay, campers benefit from the public liability insurance of the Régie du Camping Municipal de Montech for any bodily injury or property damage for which the company is held liable. Upon arrival, caravan and tent campers must present valid insurance for their equipment (caravan, tent, etc.), specifically covering public liability. Failing this, insurance must be taken out on-site. We decline all responsibility for theft or damage to personal items. Our public liability does not cover the theft or damage of tents, caravans, or their contents. Furthermore, the Régie du Camping Municipal de Montech cannot be held responsible for damage caused by external forces (storms, thunder, tornadoes, etc.) beyond our control. Please note that car parks are not guarded; parking is at the user's own risk.

10. MINORS

Unaccompanied minors (without their parents) are not permitted on the campsite (pitches and rentals). Please contact the Régie du Camping Municipal de Montech for further information.

11. PETS

Pets (microchipped/tattooed, vaccinated, with valid papers; maximum 2 per pitch, 1 per rental) are accepted under the responsibility of their owners, subject to the current rates. They must be declared by the arrival date at the latest. The vaccination record must be presented at reception upon arrival. Category 1 and 2 dogs (dangerous breeds) are prohibited. Dogs must always be kept on a lead, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.

12. HOLIDAY VOUCHERS AND EMPLOYER SUBSIDIES

The Régie du Camping Municipal de Montech does not hold specific ministerial approval for associations. Consequently, certain "Bons Vacances" may not be accepted. Please check with your local authority (CAF) to see if you are eligible for reimbursement. We also suggest contacting your Social Action Service or Works Council (CE) before booking to check their subsidy conditions.

13. COMPLAINTS

Any complaint following a stay must be submitted in writing and sent by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt within 20 days of your stay to the following address:

14. CANCELLATION INSURANCE

The Régie du Camping Municipal de Montech does not offer cancellation insurance.

Campsite rules and regulations

1. Conditions of Admission and Stay

To enter, settle on, or stay at the campsite, prior authorisation from the manager or their representative is required. The manager is responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep and order of the campsite, as well as the enforcement of these rules.
Staying at the campsite implies full acceptance of these regulations and a commitment to comply with them.
No person may establish their legal permanent residence here.

2. Police Formalities

Minors unaccompanied by their parents will only be admitted with written parental consent.
In accordance with French law (Article R. 611-35), foreign nationals must complete and sign an individual police form (fiche individuelle de police) upon arrival. This must include:
1° Full name
2° Date and place of birth
3° Nationality
4° Usual home address
Children under 15 may be included on one of their parents' forms.

3. Installation

Outdoor accommodation and all related equipment must be set up on the pitch indicated, in accordance with the instructions provided by the manager or their representative.

4. Reception Desk

Opening hours are decided by the management board and displayed on the reception door.
At reception, you will find information regarding campsite services, food supplies, sports facilities, local tourist attractions, and useful local addresses.
A system for handling complaints is available to all guests.

5. Signage and Display

These rules are displayed at the campsite entrance and at the reception desk. A copy is available upon request.
For classified campsites, the rating (tourism or leisure) and the number of pitches are displayed.
Prices for all services are available at reception.

6. Departure Procedures

Guests are requested to notify the reception desk of their departure the day before. Guests intending to leave before the reception opens must settle their final bill the previous evening.

7. Noise and Silence

Guests are asked to avoid all noise and loud discussions that may disturb their neighbours.
Audio devices must be adjusted accordingly. Car doors and boots should be closed as quietly as possible.
Dogs and other animals must never be left roaming free. They must not be left alone at the campsite, even if confined, in the absence of their owners, who are civilly liable for them.
Total silence is required during the hours set by the manager to ensure everyone’s peace.

8. Visitors

With the manager's authorisation, visitors may enter the campsite under the responsibility of the campers receiving them. 

Visitors have access to campsite facilities; however, a fee may be charged for the use of certain equipment (rates are displayed at the entrance and reception).
Visitor cars are strictly prohibited inside the campsite.

9. Vehicle Traffic and Parking

Inside the campsite, vehicles must drive at a limited speed and strictly on paved roads. 

Traffic is authorised from 06:00 to 00:00 (midnight).
Only vehicles belonging to guests staying at the campsite are allowed entry. Parking is strictly prohibited on pitches unless a specific parking space is provided. Parking must not obstruct traffic or the arrival of new guests.

10. Tenue et aspect des installations

Everyone is required to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the campsite and its facilities, particularly the sanitary blocks.
Waste Water: It is forbidden to pour wastewater on the ground or into gutters.
It must be emptied into the designated facilities.
Waste: Household waste and litter must be placed in the bins provided.
Washing: Washing clothes/dishes is strictly forbidden outside of the designated sinks.
Laundry: A communal drying area is available. Hanging laundry near accommodation is tolerated until 10:00 AM, provided it is discreet. Using trees as washing lines is strictly prohibited.
Environment: Plants and flowers must be respected. Do not nail anything to trees, cut branches, or plant your own vegetation.
Pitches: Guests must not dig the ground or use personal means to delimit their pitch.
Any damage to vegetation, fences, or campsite facilities will be charged to the person responsible.
The pitch must be left in the same condition as it was found.

11. Security

  1. a) Fire. 

Open fires (wood, charcoal, etc.) are strictly prohibited. Stoves must be in good working order and used safely.
In case of fire, notify management immediately. Fire extinguishers are available for emergency use.
A first-aid kit is located at the reception desk.

  1. b) Theft. 

Management is responsible for items deposited at the office and has a general duty of supervision. However, campers remain responsible for their own setup and equipment. Please report any suspicious activity to management.

12. Games and Activities

No violent or disruptive games may be organised near the facilities.
The meeting room may not be used for boisterous games.
Children must always be under the supervision of their parents.

13. Dead Storage ("Garage Mort")

Unoccupied equipment may not be left on the grounds without prior management approval. A "dead storage" rate of €1.30/day may be offered for motorhomes, only during the campsite's closing period (1st November to 31st March).

14. Breach of Rules

If a resident disturbs others or fails to comply with these rules, the manager may issue a verbal or written warning. 

In the event of serious or repeated breaches, the manager reserves the right to terminate the stay. 

In the case of a criminal offence, the manager may call upon the police.
